From the great German poet Rainer Maria Rilke

Being an artist means: not numbering and counting, but ripening like a tree, which doesn't force its sap, and stands confidently in the storm of spring, not afraid that afterward summer may not come. It does come. But it comes only to those who are patient, who are there as if eternity lay for them, so unconcernedly silent and vast. I learn it every day of my life, learn it with pain I am grateful for: patience is everything!

I would like to beg you to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without noticing it, live your way into the answer.
